We aim to inspire the future of tomorrow by cultivating curiosity, supporting dreams and seeding the future by sharing stories of perseverance, community, and strength while supplying financial support to ensure access the needed resources, education and supplies to make these changes attainable.
The following are available scholarships for the 2025 school year:
The Dr. Darshan Elena Campos “Somos Semillas Antillanas” scholarship was created to continue the legacy of indigenous activist and seed saver, Dr. Darshan Elena Campos. Darshan knew and understood the power of community and giving space, love and appreciation to those looking to make change and it is our hope that through establishing this scholarship to aid aspiring seed savers, community gardeners and/or aspiring agricultural students and activists in continuing or beginning their journey, that her legacy and work will continue on for generations to come. #SomosSemillasAntillanas
Our mission in providing this scholarship is to focus on bringing representation, assistance and support to our underrepresented, indigenous students who are connected to and rooted in their indigenous cultures, or looking to bridge that connection, become active in maintaining their culture and build a sense of pride.
Eligible candidates must have been accepted to a college, university or trade school in order to apply for the scholarship.
