Community B.O.H.I.O.

Community B.O.H.I.O., Inc. is a New York nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening individuals, families, and communities through compassionate support, resource access, education, food sovereignty, and opportunities for greater independence.

Community B.O.H.I.O. addresses immediate needs—such as food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and family support—while also helping people access knowledge, resources, relationships, and opportunities that can contribute to longer-term stability and self-reliance.

Its work is informed by Caribbean Indigenous values and principles surrounding community, reciprocity, stewardship, shared knowledge, resilience, and collective responsibility, while serving the broader local communities in which Community B.O.H.I.O. operates.
