Who we are:
Nitu Taino was originally created in 2020 as a NY State based LLC providing Doula Services both in person and virtually to birthing clients and families however while supporting clients during the pandemic it became quite clear that the passion we have for supporting birthing people was needed on a wider scale. We made the choice to build a network of experienced doulas and team support that allows us to provide free consultation and downloads for clients that feel confident with their support team but are looking for a little extra support, and also created a referral system for those birthers or birthing families that would like to have the Doula experience.
What we offer:
- Pre Conception Consultation
- Birth Preparation Consultation
- Birth Planning Consultations
- Postpartum Consultations
- Coping with Loss Consultations
- Doula Referrals

Free Support Downloads
To ensure that everyone has access to a safe delivery and smooth birthing process we have created the following free downloads for your personal use:
- Preconception Questions for Client to Provider/OB/GYN : If you are looking to conceive or having some difficulties, here are a few questions that you can ask your provider to ensure that you can reach the goals that you have regarding conception
click here for our Free Preconception Questions for your Provider/OB/GYN - Birthing Plans: A birthing plan is a document that outlines a birther’s preferences for labor and delivery. It typically includes information about pain management, interventions, and who will be present during the birth. A birthing plan is a way for expectant parents to communicate their desires with their healthcare providers and ensure that their wishes are respected during childbirth. It is important to note that while a birthing plan can be helpful, it is not a guarantee that everything will go according to plan, and flexibility is key during labor and delivery
click here for our Free Birthing Plan - Postpartum Plan: Similar to a birth plan, a postpartum plan is a document put together during pregnancy (or early in postpartum) that goes over what support new parent(s) want or need during the postpartum period. As with the birth plan, the process of creating the postpartum plan can sometimes be more helpful than the plan itself. In learning about what to expect, what local resources are available, and in thinking about what kind of support would be most helpful, creating a postpartum plan allows you to go into the postpartum period armed with knowledge and ideas to give to those asking how to best support you and your family.
FREE DOCUMENT COMING SOON - Baby Blues or PMADs?: The baby blues are very common in birthing people for the first few days up to a week or two after the birth however symptoms that last longer than a week or two after birth could mean that you may be experiencing some type of perinatal mood and anxiety disorder. These most commonly include postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, and postpartum psychosis. Use this reference guide to know what to look for and make sure to let your provider know what you are feeling.
